Outlook 2010 on Windows

If you are using Outlook 2010 on a Windows Comptuer or Laptop, you can follow these instructions to update your e-mail. 

Please note that the instructions we have provided are as up to date as possible and therefore may differ if you have older or slightly different application/software installed than us. Some steps may look/differ slightly.

Step 1:

With Outlook 2010 Open, click on File and navigate to Info. Under the Account Information title, click on the menu and ensure that you have the correct account selected. After this, click on Account Settings.

Step 2:
Ensure that the Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) boxes both say “mail.estage.net”.


Step 3:
Click on More Settings…

Step 4:

In the screen that has just appeared, click on Advanced. Ensure that “Use the following type of encrypted connection” boxes both say SSL. 

 

Step 5:

In this new screen, click on the Description that matches the Description which you made note of in step 4, and then update the “Host Name” to “mail.estage.net”. Click on Ok.

 

 


Step 6:

Press Okay, and then click Next to test if e-mails are working.
